INSPIRATION

Verse 1:
It was a lifetime ago
when the memories began,
of a woman in the role
of a family's plan.
She didn't know it then
nor did she understand
the importance of her words,
her deeds, her inspiration.

Verse 2:
The things she teaches us
will stay with us all,
to believe in yourself
and always be strong.
The important things in life
will bring strength to them
we should keep close to our hearts:
family, friends, and especially our faith.

Refrain:
She's the one who teaches us to live,
it's through her kindness that we learn to give.
Not to ourselves but always to others,
she's our mother, our inspiration.

Bridge:
When she is sought in times of need,
her unselfishness is her Godspeed.
The help, the love, the understanding,
is always there, the inspiration.

Verse 3:
There are times in our lives
when a little rain must fall,
as it did for her before
in a strong test of faith.
Many would stumble, many would fall,
but she lives the way she teaches us:
to always stand tall.
